The Senior Statistical Analyst will support data cleaning, data preparation, development of statistical models and conduct complex data analyses. The Senior Statistical Analyst will provide program maintenance, support Data Quality Analysts and provide cross-functional statistical and programming support. The Senior Statistical Analyst will provide input for data quality and data analysis to the Director, Data Quality and Analytics, and upper management.

This role will work closely with real world data, focusing on multiple complex projects and making sophisticated judgments based on an in-depth understanding of statistical concepts and database rules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of statistical models (e.g. identify atypical values, correlative analysis, predictive analysis).
• Perform data analyses including but not limited to client support, query design, best practice recommendations and final deliverable presentation.
• Analyze data and make recommendations to management regarding data quality.
• Work independently and with a team on complex exploratory data analysis projects.
• Interpret data analysis and report results.
• Provide cross-functional analytics support for Data Operations, Development, Marketing, Product Management, Sales and Services.
• Develop and maintain programs for the Data Quality and Analytics program library including but not limited to SAS macro programs.
• Maintain and update process documentation related to programming, statistics and reporting (SOPs, ECRs, Work Instructions, etc).
• Perform special projects as assigned.

Required:

• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills with a strong background in statistics.
• Undergraduate degree, preferably in mathematics, statistics, applied economics, computer science or related field. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in SAS or similar analytics platform (R Programming a plus), SQL and MS Office Suite (MS Access, MS Excel, MS Visio).
• Approximately 10% travel.

Preferred:

• 3+ years of statistical programming (or equivalent) experience.
• 1-3 years of data quality or analytics experience.
• Experience in Windows PC environment working in at least medium-size relational databases.
• Experience in clinical informatics, healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
