Position

• Responsible for technical aspects of end-to-end solutions delivery, deployment, system integration, and customer acceptance of the project


• Interface with external third party vendors and internal cross functional teams (engineering and R&D) to ensure on-time delivery of technical solutions, and compliance for product specifications and accuracy as per RFP response


• Support project/program management for project planning, scheduling, technical risk assessment and mitigation


• Create RF coverage map, RF signature database and troubleshoot radio prediction performance


• Lead on-site troubleshooting efforts, and work with engineering and development (system integrator and RF engineers) teams for a quick resolution


• Act as a prime point of contact with the customer for all technical issues during the all post- sales phases including field integration and customer acceptance


• Prepare and present regular project status report for internal and external stakeholders


• Maintain current knowledge of relevant emerging technologies


• Provide system support to product marketing and product development on a need basis


• Prepare technical training material, and deliver training programs towards external customers

Experience

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or technologically relevant field


• Core Network Experience a must have


• Experience with Agilent Probes a must have


• Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in RF engineering, system integration and network deployment


• Minimum of 7 years experience working for a GSM or UMTS carrier and/or Wireless infrastructure vendors


• Very good understanding of various wireless standards such as GSM and UMTS at both radio and network interfaces, network, architecture and protocols


• Hands-on work experience with radio and core network nodes (BSC, MSC, HLR) of various vendors and interoperability with understanding of end-to-end call flow.


• Experience with SMLC, GMLC, Probes, and Lb, Ls, Iupc interfaces is highly desired.


• Experience with RF planning tools, deep understanding of network design and optimization concepts, link budget, drive testing


• User level Experience with Unix and MATLAB


• Good understanding of operations and admin tools for network elements


• Experience with location technologies deployment, probe deployment, system integration, and ability to design location technology solutions for carriers preferred


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to prepare and present comprehensive presentations to customers at all levels


• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational and project management skills


• Ability to succeed in a dynamic work environment


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities
