The Corporate Support Manager’s role is to supervise and ensure the efficient operation of the company’s personal computers, blackberry devices, network, client servers, databases, and equipment that relates to the corporate offices and corporate functions. This position is the first contact for the most senior executives in the company supporting their personal technology needs. This includes working with the local IT staff responsible for monitoring and diagnosing network and hardware problems to ensure service continuity at the executive offices. The Corporate Support Manager will also work closely with the IT executive staff and decision makers in other departments in order to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions as it relates to the corporate office and corporate functions. BS degree in related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of experience. MS degree in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of experience. However a combination of education and experience will be taken into consideration. Must have experience working as a technologist and directly supporting senior executives with their technology needs.
Acting as IT Change approver for Change management and CI’s impacting executive offices.
Develop support process and model for Executive Support to include clear communication path for customers. Working with a single support staff to ensure 24 x 7 contact availability.
Work with leaders of Service Management group and Global Technology services to continue to improve Service Delivery for all IT customers.
Manage the process of setting up user workstations, maintain installation documentation and supervise the installation of enterprise desktop application software.
